CAMERON MILLS
FOUNDER & DIRECTOR
(DESIGNATED SAFEGUARDING LEAD DEVON)

Cameron Mills is an award-winning performer, producer, and educator on a mission to redefine how creative education works in the UK.
Born and raised in Devon, Cameron’s journey began in performance, going on to tour extensively across the UK and Ireland and perform at major venues including the National Concert Hall in Dublin. His work has earned recognition at prestigious events such as the ITV Classic Brit Awards, alongside appearances on BBC television and radio.
It was through mentoring young people, however, that his focus truly took shape. Seeing how often traditional education overlooks creativity and confidence, Cameron set out to build something different — a model based on real-world experiences, performance, and personal growth.
That vision became the Cameron Mills Group.
Since then, Cameron has worked with and developed countless young creatives, helping them build confidence and step into music, media, and performance. One of the most notable moments came with Bow Community Primary School’s recording of A Million Dreams, which reached number 2 in the Amazon Music pop chart, gaining widespread attention and even a personal response from Hugh Jackman.
Alongside his work in education, Cameron has collaborated with a wide range of globally recognised artists and public figures, including Billy Idol, Girls Aloud, Boney M, Peter Andre, JLS, and members of the Sex Pistols. His experience across both performance and industry continues to shape the real-world, relevant approach that defines his work today.
In recognition of his entrepreneurial vision and impact, Cameron has been named Young Entrepreneur of the Year five times, including at the Great British Business Awards, EntreConf, and the Exeter Impact Awards. Under his leadership, the Cameron Mills Group has also received major honours including Start-Up of the Year at the South West Business Awards, Best New Business at the Exeter Living Awards and Highly Commended at the Exeter Living Awards.
Beyond CMG, Cameron supports the wider creative community as a Trustee for B Sharp Music in Dorset and as an advisory Trustee at South West Music School, contributing to its mission of providing high-quality music education to young people across the region.
At the heart of everything he does is a simple belief: confidence isn’t something you’re born with — it’s something that can be built, given the right environment, support, and opportunity.
